In comparison to other larger settings, our Currumbin High Back Kwila Outdoor Timber Setting as a rule, can still seat 10 guests. In the first place, it’s probably the deep rich colour of Kwila, used on the settings tops, which lures you to be seated. There’s certainly plenty of room to do so, even for a large group. But it’s a very popular and functional addition to any outdoor entertaining area as the setting, maybe due to its compact size, certainly doesn’t usually take up a lot of floor space.
This outdoor set comprises a generously sized table L: 1800mm W: 1100mm coupled with four high back benches. By the way, there’ll never be a bad spot at the table either, hence no one is out of the conversation. The tables cross leg configuration leaves loads of space for guests legs and the benches can be stowed away when not in use. If the table is not kept under cover, an umbrella hole can be included for a little extra cost.

KWILA
Kwila, known also as Merbau, is one of the world’s most used timbers for outdoors. It’s rich dark red in colour by comparison to the paler Cypress wood we use for the legs and bases of the setting. Both timbers however are particularly resistant to termites which many other outdoor timbers regularly are not.

THE SOLID TIMBER MAN
This setting is part of our The Solid Timber Man range manufactured from scratch on site at our factory in Queensland. All The Solid Timber Man furniture pieces can be purchased separately or Mix and Match to suit your needs. Predominately we use Australian grown Cypress timber along with other Australian timbers. This setting on the other hand is manufactured using PNG grown Kwila for the tops. Its Cypress frames have been fastened together with heavy duty bolts. That is to say unlike cheap imports which use flimsy screws that can’t be tightened and wear holes over time.
