Product Description

The rectangular shaped Currumbin Kwila Outdoor Timber Table is not too long, and nor too wide. It’s just the right size for most home outdoor areas which makes it a popular choice for smaller families. Crafted from one of the worlds most durable timbers. Kwila with its durability makes it ideal for use in varied climates. It’s easy to maintain with oil and hence the colour always looks good.

The table is L: 1800mm W: 1100mm with the warmth of deep red Kwila on top. And a contrast of a paler coloured Cypress timber for the frame and legs. The tables cross leg configuration leaves loads of space for guests legs. And in addition, if the table is not kept under cover, an umbrella hole can be included for a little extra cost.

KWILA
Kwila, known also as Merbau, is one of the world’s most used timbers for outdoors. It is rich dark red in colour by comparison to the paler Cypress wood we use for the legs and frame of the table. Both timbers however are particularly resistant to termites. Many other outdoor timbers regularly are not.

THE SOLID TIMBER MAN
This table is part of our The Solid Timber Man range manufactured on site in our factory in Queensland. All The Solid Timber Man furniture can be purchased separately or Mix and Match to suit your needs. Predominately we use Australian grown Cypress timber along with other Australian timbers. This table on the other hand is manufactured using PNG grown Kwila for the top. Its Cypress frame has been fastened together with heavy duty bolts. That is to say unlike cheap imports which use flimsy screws that can’t be tightened and wear holes after time.
Cutek® Extreme CD50
Each piece of timber furniture from The Solid Timber Man range has been pre-coated twice with Cutek oil. Cutek is an oil based wood protection system that penetrates deeply into the timber where it works to control moisture from inside out. Likewise Cutek products do not peel off or crack. They do however impart exceptional long term stability to timber. And they also enhance the natural beauty of wood without obscuring its natural characteristics and features. Check out the Cutek difference video.

Cutek® Extreme CD50 won’t form a film instead diffuses through timber controlling moisture from the inside;
significantly slows down the rate of moisture exchange between wood and the environment;
stabilises timber by controlling moisture for many years, minimising movement;
is not a film so does not need to be removed before recoating, greatly simplifying maintenance.
