To begin with, the huge Cypress tongue and groove table top rests on rough sawn four x four Cypress legs. These resemble a square pedestal base and as a result you have a sturdy, robust table. In addition if the table is not kept under cover for a little extra cost an umbrella hole can be included. Not only do we drill a hole through the tables top, but we drill through the cross member to contain an umbrella.
The high back benches let the table speak for itself. They are a popular seating choice; with simple lines, easy to clean and they enable more guests to be seated around the table than individual chairs. Solid high back benches really do offer a comfortable seating spot which subsequently allows guests to sit back and be at ease during an outdoor gathering. This setting is part of our The Solid Timber Man range. We manufacture this range from scratch on site at our factory in Queensland. All The Solid Timber Man furniture pieces can be purchased separately or Mix and Match to suit your needs. Predominately we use Australian grown Cypress timber along with other Australian timbers fastened together with heavy duty bolts. This is unlike cheap imports which use flimsy screws that can’t be tightened and wear holes after time.
