Product Description
The Tasman Slat Back Cypress Outdoor Timber Setting comprises a long 2200mm x 1000mm table with six benches. It not only looks great above all its slat backs are easy to maintain. Stylish, easy to maintain, plenty of room for guests. This setting is ideal for summer BBQ’s, parties and therefore outdoor dining in general.
The design is long but narrower than our bigger settings making it a good solution for restricted verandah’s or deck areas. If space is an issue, and when not in use, the two end benches can be used elsewhere. The four side benches slide almost completely under the table after that.
This Tasman Slat Back Cypress Outdoor Timber Setting is made completely from Cypress timber. Therefore it will have a great amount of longevity, strength and durability. It’s perfect for outdoor furniture!
Rather than all of the same style of benches, you can switch out the slat back style benches for our backless benches or have a combination of both styles. Either way it works out the same cost!
Mixing and matching backed and backless benches make outdoor dining sets versatile, eye-catching and a little different. Plus as the benches are detached, therefore you have the advantage to use them for extra seating elsewhere in your outdoor living space.

This Tasman Slat Back Cypress Outdoor Timber Setting is part of our The Solid Timber Man range manufactured from scratch on site at our factory in Queensland. All The Solid Timber Man furniture pieces can be purchased separately or Mix and Match to suit your needs. Predominately we use Australian grown Cypress timber along with other Australian timbers fastened together with heavy duty bolts. This is unlike cheap imports which use flimsy screws that can’t be tightened and wear holes after time.
Cutek® CD50
Each piece of timber furniture from The Solid Timber Man range has been pre-coated twice with Cutek oil. Cutek is an oil based wood protection system that penetrates deeply into the timber where it works to control moisture from inside out. Likewise Cutek products do not peel off or crack. They do however impart exceptional long term stability to timber. And they also enhance the natural beauty of wood without obscuring its natural characteristics and features. Cutek® CD50 won’t form a film instead diffuses through timber controlling moisture from the inside;
significantly slows down the rate of moisture exchange between wood and the environment;
stabilises timber by controlling moisture for many years, minimising movement;
is not a film so does not need to be removed before recoating, greatly simplifying maintenance.
