Description

The A-Frame Cypress Outdoor Timber Picnic Setting will seat eight adults, generally more. It still makes a great addition to any campground, beer garden or breakout area as it works in all terrains. You can move it off the deck and out onto the grass, move it to the left, move it to the right – it stays together.

Likewise you can turn your backyard into a casual entertaining venue to for the neighbours, friends or family to have BBQ’s and outdoor celebrations. It’s a classic with its elbow-to-elbow dining and climb over seating.

By adding some extra length to the tables top we can make the setting inclusive for wheelchair access with an overhang. In addition an umbrella hole is no problem for us to include in the centre either. Extend the setting futher with end benches to match!

We have 2 different style options using the Cypress, tongue & groove we interlock the boards meaning there are no gaps between each board or using Cypress decking leaving a 5mm air gap between each board. There is no disadvantage either way it comes down to your preference.

There are 3 common sizes but if you’d prefer smaller or bigger let us know.

This setting is part of our The Solid Timber Man range manufactured on site in Queensland. All The Solid Timber Man furniture pieces can be purchased separately. On the other hand you can Mix and Match to suit your needs. Predominantly we use Australian grown Cypress along with other Australian timbers fastened together with heavy duty bolts. Unlike cheap imports which use flimsy screws that can’t be tightened and wear holes over time.

Each piece of timber outdoor furniture from The Solid Timber Man range has been pre-coated twice with Cutek oil. Cutek is an oil based wood protection system that penetrates deeply into timber. It works to control moisture from inside out. Cutek products do not peel off or crack. They impart exceptional long term stability to the timber. They also enhance the natural beauty of wood without obscuring its natural characteristics and features.

Product coated with high quality timber protective oil Cutek® CD50 ready for outdoors. Cutek® CD50 won’t form a film instead diffuses through timber controlling moisture from the inside; significantly slows down the rate of moisture exchange between wood and the environment; stabilises timber by controlling moisture for many years, thus minimising movement; is not a film so does not need to be removed before recoating which greatly simplifies maintenance.
