Our Timber Planter Box Kwila are great borders that create a line of greenery. These are popular for room dividers in cafés, and make excellent features on balconies.

They are a very effective way to divide spaces while providing a link to nature! Not only do they look fun, they can be practical as some cafés pop their herb garden in to grow.

These boxes take up minimal space and can be custom built to your specifications. The box pictured has a glass barrier, but standard boxes come without this addition.

The outer layer is crafted from one of the world’s most durable hardwood timbers – Kwila (also known as Merbau) – with its sturdiness makes it ideal for use in varied climates. It’s easy to maintain and the rich colour always looks good.

THE SOLID TIMBER MAN

This planter box is part of our The Solid Timber Man range manufactured from scratch on site at our factory in Queensland. All The Solid Timber Man furniture pieces can be purchased separately or Mix and Match to suit your needs. Predominately we use Australian grown Cypress timber along with other Australian timbers. This planter box on the other hand is manufactured using PNG grown Kwila for the outside shell.

Each piece of timber outdoor furniture from The Solid Timber Man range has been pre-coated twice with Cutek oil. So Cutek is an oil based wood protection system that penetrates deeply into the timber where it works to control moisture from inside out. Likewise Cutek products do not peel off or crack. They do however impart exceptional long term stability to timber. And they also enhance the natural beauty of wood without obscuring its natural characteristics and features. Product coated with high quality timber protective oil Cutek® CD50 ready for outdoors. Cutek® CD50 won’t form a film. Instead it diffuses through timber controlling moisture from the inside; significantly slows down the rate of moisture exchange between wood and the environment; stabilises timber by controlling moisture for many years, minimising movement; is not a film so does not need to be removed before recoating, greatly simplifying maintenance.
